Cassper Nyovest and Costa Titch once had an amazing bond through stage performance. However, their relationship got soiled with a short-term beef. The two rappers had a professional relationship many years ago, as Costa was one of Nyovest’s dancers. However, Constantino evolved from being a choreographer to being a musician, and their relationship automatically ended.

Many do not know what happened behind the scene of their relationship, but they were blatantly not close friends nor were they on talking terms.

In 2021, Nyovest was all about saving SA Hip Hop after switching to Amapiano genre, but Titch took a swipe at him indirectly with a tweet that reads, “SA Hip Hop is uniting right now. If you jumped ship, stay there and let us fix what you broke -respectfully.”

In response, Cass mocked Costa by sharing a video recording of him performing an Amapiano record. This broer said he is saving SA Hip Hop Mos. Costa Titch replied by setting the record straight and at the same time exuding his respect for the Tito Mboweni hitmaker.

Knowing that Costa is friends with Cass’ beef mate, AKA, people urged the fast-rising star to avoid inheriting beef. The beef turned out to be short-termed after Nyovest forgave Titch.

“1 thing I’m not, is a bully & I can see you’re backtracking so ill forgive you and let it go. I just wanted to make you feel it shake a bit. O ntwana Costa , you’re a laatie. Go make music and have fun, don’t talk smack for no reason unless you’re gonna see it through. Sharp!”

The two musicians ended the discourse and focused on their careers individually.

Costa Titch’s death reminded people of the beef, but Cassper Nyovest did the same as he did after AKA’s death, he expressed condolences and empathy.

After posting his prayerful wish for a billion, one of Cassper Nyovests’ followers, DJ Shimza, posted an expected reply.

“Ntate modimo, kopa 1 Billion!!! [Father God, I’d like to have 1 billion],” the rapper said.

South African rapper and businessman, Cassper Nyovest has been keeping his time on social media limited since the gruesome murder of rap foe, Kiernan Jarryd Forbes. It was not all hostile between them, as they started off as friends, to Cassper openly admitting that AKA had been an inspiration to him, but things ended on a sour note between them as they had back and forths on social media and face-to-face, openly displaying their dislike for each other.

Not to say Cassper is not saddened by the sudden death of AKA, he released a statement earlier this week expressing his sadness over the passing of Forbes and his friend Tebello “Tibz” Motsoane. He sent his condolences to his family, “My sincere condolences goes out to Kiernan and Tebello’s families, colleagues and fans. May their souls rest in peace and their legacies be celebrated. May the Good lord be with all of you at this sad time.”

When fans asked him if he would be attending the funeral and memorial services, he said he would attend if he was in the country, unfortunately, he is out of the country for work purposes, so he would not be able to attend either service.

“Unfortunately I’ll be out of the country for work but if I was around I would’ve went. I would’ve went to the funeral too,” he said.

He acknowledged their beef, however, he said they had good times and he was one of the people whose contribution to the Hip Hop industry does not go unnoticed.

“No matter how you look at it, me and Kiernan shared a lot of great moments together and he contributed to my industry so I have to pay my respects.”

AKA was murdered on February 10 in Florida Rd, Durban after a night out with friends. “It is with extreme sadness that we acknowledge the passing of our beloved son, and confirm his untimely and tragic passing on the evening of 10 February 2023. We are awaiting further details from the Durban police.”

For over ten years the two continually dragged each other or would sometimes surprise the public as they shared cute public moments together. However, since the news of AKA’s passing. While there has been a concern for Cassper, it seems that there are some people who have used AKA’s passing to continue to cyberbully the rapper.

This was seen as some tweeps quickly rushed to Cassper’s social media accounts to find “evidence” of his believed glee over the passing of his public “arch nemesis.”

Ahead of the news of AKA’s passing, Cassper had taken to Twitter to post a Christian proverb. At the time, it had a context which did not include AKA.

However, as the news of AKA’s passing started to go viral and assuming the years of bad blood between Cassper and AKA, it seems that trolls rushed to his post to suggest that his tweet was a manifestation as to the tragedy that befell AKA and his loved ones.

Moreover, there were other insidious comments that were directed at Cassper. Specifically, the egregious tweets seemed to suggest that it should have been Cassper rather than AKA.

Seemingly, there are people that have forgotten just how much Cassper has gone through in terms of loss. Whether it was in his private life after confirming to have lost a relative recently. Or the passing of friend and fellow entertainer DJ Sumbody. Or even the passing of Riky Rick when it was assumed that he and Cassper were still at odds at the time of his passing.

Cassper has continually had to face the brunt of the public’s backlash without consideration for what he might be going through. But there were those that found the silver lining in terms of the Cassper situation. This is as the numerous mysterious passing has called into question the safety of our Mzansi celebrities.

But it seems that Cassper has been one step ahead of any imminent danger against his life. This is as it was reported:

We spend a lot of money on stupid things, so why not invest in security and knowing that wherever I move, I am a bit safer and everything is controlled.
