Anele Mdoda took to her social media to share the hilarious story her son, Alakhe wrote.

Alakhe recently resumes grade one and he has started showing off his creativity.

Taking to Twitter, Anele stated her son wrote a book yesterday which was about a lady who saves the world in space and also there is a bad guy who he named Mr Pizza.

The Talk Show host was curious about the two blank spaces Alakhe left in his book and she decided to ask him about it.

Responding to that, Alakhe said it’s for the reader so they can have a break as they read.

Anele Mdoda defends Somizi’s behaviour towards the journalist

Anele Mdoda takes to Twitter defending her colleague, Somizi Mhlongo against trolls. Som’s name has been in the mouth of Mzansi Twitter after insulting some journalists who sought for the truth as regards his marriage.

Responding to the journalists, Som insulted them and SANEF calls such act irresponsible, urging him to apologise to those journalists from City Press and Sunday World. Anele claimed the journalists provoked Somizi as they have no right to question him without doing lots of research.

Radio personality Anele Mdoda’s parenting skills questioned

Radio personality, Anele Mdoda has decided to put a troll in his place after questioning her on her parenting skills. The star posted a picture of her son and some trolls criticised her for posting a picture of her son in a vehicle while not in a car seat.

Thereafter, one follower posted a picture of a child in a car seat, along with the regulations that all children under 3 years old should be in one while travelling.

Anele, however, deleted the post and when the critic claimed victory, she quickly put him in his place.

The star responded: “No actually. I deleted it because it had my son’s school name and you know you low lives with nothing else to do.

She added that she was “parked at the school already”, and told the troll to “please drop dead as soon as possible”.

Anele said: “I have this terrible habit of deciding on Alakhe’s behalf. Example: I will ask everyone else what they want and I decide for him. Yesterday he asked me to please ask him what he wants. Mom reprimanded. He is 4 so nam I thought he is too young. I almost cried won’t lie.

Anele Mdoda is excited as her son, Alakhe resumes school today. What is more exciting for the radio personality is that it’s his first day in Grade 1.

Anele Mdoda announces the return of Celebrity Game Night season 2</h1

Anele Mdoda has finally announced the return of Celebrity Game Night and the show’s 2nd season. She made this news known through her Twitter. The show is all about having different celebrities play party games against one another.

The tasks vary each episode and test everything from acting skills to pop culture knowledge.

Anele shared that she would be hosting along with team leaders Jason Goliath and Ayanda Thabethe.

Well, the show will be back to the screen in February 7.

Radio personality Anele Mdoda tests positive for COVID-19

‘It attacks as it pleases and takes whomever it wants,’ she tweeted

Media personality and 94.7 radio host Anele Mdoda has revealed she tested positive for Covid-19 after fans felt her absence on her morning radio show.

After being flooded with questions, the loved radio host shared that she had tested positive for the coronavirus on the same day as F1 driver Lewis Hamilton.

Taking to Twitter, she reminded people to be cautious and remember the virus “has no rules”.

Anele told fans she has been resting at home and has been taking drugs to help her system beat the virus.

Anele joins rappers AKA and Cassper Nyovest, actress Ama Qamata and singer Brian Temba on the list of celebs who have contracted the coronavirus.

Opening up after the fact about how Covid-19 affected him, Cassper lifted the lid on his experience of having the coronavirus while making a virtual guest appearance on US radio personality Kojo Ebro’s show.

“At first it was a scary part where we stayed home and then I started training. I’m training for this boxing fight. The training was hectic and just at the peak of my fitness, I contracted Covid-19.

“The weirdest thing is everybody was social distancing and everything we’re told to do, but somehow I caught it. If I wasn’t called by the person who contracted it, I wouldn’t have known. I just had a little headache, I thought it was from sparring. I thought someone hit my head too hard. I went and got tested and I found out I was positive.”

Ama and Brian shared their diagnosis on social media and have all since fully recovered.

Anele Mdoda gushes over chat with John Legend

South African radio star, Anele Mdoda announced on Tuesday, that she will be conversing with American singer, John Legend on 947 radio station.

The star expressed her excitement, and further revealed that she might ask him to do a duet with her on radio this night.

“Waiting to chat to John Legend about some stuff and wondering if I can ask him to join me in a duet of tonight, I’ll be the best you ever had,” she said.

Meanwhile, John isn’t the first international star Anele will be interview, as she’s gone across the boarders of SA in other o interview stars from other countries across the globe.

Anele Mdoda shares how she escaped Human Trafficking Syndicate in Cape Town hotel

Anele Mdoda has revealed she escaped human trafficking syndicate in Cape Town where the Miss SA 2020 beauty pageant was hosted.

The Miss SA 2020 judge said that unknown men entered her hotel room with their own keys in a bid alleged to take away the award-winning host.

Mdoda was not in the room by the time and the unknown men had a heated exchange with Anele’s designer.

Anele was booked at The Table Bay Hotel in Cape Town where the incident happened.

Anele is looking for answers from the hotel management after the incident, she revealed that the perpetrators were not foreigners.

Anele Mdoda breathes fire after escaping human trafficking suspects in her Hotel room

Anele Mdoda is the latest star to highlight the matter of human trafficking through a series of posts on Twitter airing the suspicious that occurred in her hotel room this past Saturday.

The first tweet served as ambiguous tweet that let fans know that there was a weird occurrence that took place in her hotel. Anele did not just that it is the hotel she was staying at, but Cape Town as a whole that has an air of “some dodgy sh*t going down.”

Not intending to gaslight with the post, however with the country currently speaking on the matter of human trafficking quickly decided on the nationality of the intruders that walked into her hotel room.

Another detail that Anele’s first post revealed was that the unknown men had entered into her hotel room by using access cards to gain entry.

This is despite Anele and the rest of her team having no knowledge as to who the men were. Additionally, Anele suggested that she wanted footage or a report as to how the criminals gained entry. When asked what remedial action she plans to take she stated not to know, and she will decide after receiving the report from the hotel.

In the most recent tweet on the events of the night, Anele made sure to clarify that it was not foreign nationals of any kind of descent that were in her room. Currently, in South Africa, there is heightened sensitivity and prejudice expressed towards foreign nationals. As a country, we have a sordid relationship with xenophobia that has been exacerbated the pandemic and the effects it has had on the economy and employment locally.

Another detail revealed through the aforementioned post, was Anele’s suggestion of the occurrence being an inside job. Anele shared that she remembered the “weird” exchange that the unidentified men had with her designer.

Anele might seriously think that the designer is involved with the drama that took place as the star has not shared said designers name, despite having posted several visuals of her in the statement feathered cape and blue dress.

And it seems that Anele might have been right in sharing the experience. This is after another social media user coming out and attesting to have had a similar experience when they had stayed over in Cape Town. The tweet details an experience of security verifying her check-in in the early hours of the morning.

Anele Mdoda returns as host for Celebrity Game Night season 2

South African viewers can look forward to more of their favourite celebrities participating in silly games in “Celebrity Game Night”.

NBCUniversal International Networks’ Global recently confirmed the commission of a second season of the popular game show.
The show will consist of ten one-hour episodes and will premiere in early 2021 on E! (DStv channel 124).

Overflowing with fun and laughter, “Celebrity Game Night” offers viewers side-splitting antics as their favourite local stars battle it out to reign victorious in a host of games.

Returning to lead their celebrity squads to victory are original team captains, Jason Goliath and Ayanda Thabethe, while the razor-sharp Anele Mdoda reprises her role as host.

The first season included some of the biggest names in local entertainment, such as Minnie Dlamini-Jones, Alex Caige, Dineo Langa, Ice Prince, Boity, Maps Maponyane, Roxy Burger, DJ Fresh and Lerato Kganyago.

And, this season, “Celebrity Game Night” welcomes new celebrity guests, along with some returning faces, who take each other on in hysterical games such as “Where Are You Going?”, “Popped Quiz” and “Clue Boom.”
