MISS World South Africa Shudufhadzo Musida has left Mzansi for Miss World, which will be held in Puerto Rico.

The beauty queen left on Saturday, 12 March and thanked all her supporters on social media.

She said it is time for her to go represent Mzansi for the last time.

“To everything there is a season, and a time for every purpose under the heavens” – Ecclesiastes 3:1. It’s finally time… I’m honoured to wear the name South Africa across my chest for one last time!” wrote Shudu.

The Miss SA organisation also wished her well and asked for people to send messages to her as well.

“We are going for the iconic blue crown! Send your well wishes to @shudufhadzomusida in the comments below,” they wrote.

Media personality Bonang Matheba commented: “Good luck @shudufhadzomusida!! We love you. Kill it gurl!!”

Muofhedemana said Shudu is already Miss World.

“Congratulations in advance Shudu, you are Theee Miss World,” she wrote.

Nompumelelo Philly wrote: “All the best queen. We will be cheering hard for you.”

The 25-year-old beauty queen spoke to Daily Sun two weeks ago and asked that Mzansi helps her make the Top 12. She is already in the Top 40.

“South Africans can help me get into the Top 12 by simply going to the Miss World website and going to a link about me. That link is available on my social media pages to make it easier.

“Once they get to the link, they’ll get to see articles about me and all they need to do is read the articles and engage with them by sharing and sending me their comments and tell me which articles they want me to send on the page next,” she said.

“They just need to do that as many times as they can. This just simply shows interest and also helps me with knowing what content they want to know about my Miss World journey,” said Shudu.
