Senzo Meyiwa trial: Kelly Khumalo’s lawyer seeks more info on docket

Kelly Khumalo’s lawyer Magdalene Moonsamy says she will write to the NPA to get more information on the second docket discussed in court on Wednesday.

She says she is not aware of the contents of the document.

The docket calls for those who were present at the house during the killing of football star Senzo Meyiwa to be charged.

“I’ve not seen the document but Defense One to Four sent me a submission he had made… the content of the document is not known to me or my client,” Moonsamy said.

“We have never been approached by the state or police on 375, we have been complaint on 636, but 375 has not been part of our cooperation our knowledge.

“We need to know the facts in the docket, once we understand the facts we will then be able to establish what the facts are and how we proceed and if it was officially authorized and verified.”

The matter continues on Monday.
