Producer and record label boss DJ Maphorisa – real name Themba Sonnyboy Sekowe – is fuming after claims he has sexual relations with his male artists.
The damning allegations were made by ex-convict Bongani Joshua Tsime on the Against The Wall Podcast with SkeemGP on YouTube.
EX-CONVICT MAKES EXPLOSIVE ALLEGATIONS AGAINST MAPHORISA
During his interview, Tsime claimed that the Mnike hitmaker, who owns BlaqBoy Music, offers his record deals in exchange for sex.
“DJ Maphorisa is secretly sleeping with other men, the likes of Daliwonga. I’m not making this up, they also know it, “
Asked to provide proof, he said: “Why do you think they are so protective over these boys with tiny voices? And these artists will never open up the industry because they know how they got in.”
MAPHORISA THREATENS TO MAKE TSIME PAY
The allegations quickly spread like wildfire on the social media platform X, with Maphorisa responding and promising to teach Tsime a lesson.

ASSAULT CASE
While Maphorisa has enjoyed great success this year, he has also been in the spotlight for allegations of abuse.
The Ba Straata producer was arrested in May this year for allegedly assaulting his actress ex-girlfriend Thuli Phongolo at her Sandton home.
After his first court appearance following his arrest, he was granted R4 000 bail. In addition, the former Generations: The Legacy filed a withdrawal statement. However, the National Prosecuting Authority (NPA) decided to continue with the case.
Following investigation, and several court appearances, Sunday World reported that Maphorisa rejected the NPA’s proposal to do anger management courses before it withdraws the charges against him.
In August the case was withdrawn.
