Legendary Singer Sibongile Khumalo has died
Legendary Singer Sibongile Khumalo has passed on.
The talented songstress who is known for her hit song ‘U Ea Kae’ passed on Thursday, 28 January after suffering from a stroke.
The passing of the talented singer has left the whole of Mzansi shocked and since then tributes and heartfelt messages of condolences have been pouring in for the fallen star, with many saying that this is a great loss to the music industry.
Seton Kawkins paid his tribute and said: “I am numb to hear of the passing of Sibongile Khumalo passing. Please celebrate the life of this legend.”
The star whose career kicked off professionally in 1991, has many accolades under her name.
Her accomplishments include the Standard Bank Young Artist Award for Music which she got in 1993, four South African Music Awards for her light music and jazz recordings, and three FNB Vita Awards for her opera and concert work.
