Boity Thulo is a South African television personality, rapper, actress, businesswoman, and model. She was born on April 28, 1990. Thulo was named one of Forbes Africa’s 30 Under 30 in 2019 for her contributions to the music and entertainment industries.
She rose to prominence following the release of her debut single “Wuz Dat” in 2018, which featured Nasty C. She signed a record deal with Def Jam in 2020 and released her EP 4436. At the 27th South African Music Awards, the EP was nominated for Best Hip Hop Album.
Thulo’s television career began in 2011 when she hosted the YOTV educational show “Crib Notes.” She later co-hosted the SABC 1 The Media Career Guide Show, which she co-hosted with Thomani Mahlaba. She has also hosted television shows such as SkyRoom Live, Ridiculousness Africa, Club 808, Zoned, Change Down, and Big Brother Africa.
