Zodwa Wabantu offers R30,000 reward after housebreaking
Local entertainer Zodwa Wabantu claims that her Durban home has been broken into by thieves who made away with her valuables.
She is offering a reward of R 30 000 to anyone who can come forward with information that can lead to the arrest and conviction of the suspects.
In a video that she posted on Instagram, Wabantu revealed that her garden equipment boxes of perfumes, laptop, and all of her clothes were stolen during the housebreaking.
She claims that she has opened a case of housebreaking and theft at the Malvern Police Station in Durban, Kwa Zulu- Natal.
Wabantu told Sunday World that there are certain people she suspects are behind the ‘hurtful act”.
“I am currently in Johannesburg for the Lockdown Party and no one was home when the incident happened,” she said.
“This thing is really painful because we are trying to find other ways of doing business. Once the fingerprints are taken and police have completed their preliminary investigations, we will offer a R 30 000 reward to anyone who helps us find the person who did this,” said Wabantu.
Wabantu later uploaded another video, in which she told her fans she was not going to pretend to be strong and said “everyone goes through sh*t”.
