Zikhona Sodlaka has bagged herself a new gig after leaving The Wife. The star who was the favorite actors on the show revealed her exist last two weeks.

However, many of her fans and other celebrities are happy she is joining a new telenovela.n Zikhona will debut on Gquberha: The Empire alongside Zansile Msutwana, Mbulelo Grootboom, Kay Bikitsha, Phila Madlingozi, Anelen Matoti and Akhenime Mfenyana. The show will debut on 16th January on Mzansi Magic. Congratulations to Zikhona.

Gqeberha: The Enpire is produced by the multi-awardwinning Tshedza Pictures which has produced
productions like The River, The Republic and Legacy.This is the first Mzansi Magic telenovela filmed entirely
the Eastern Cape. It follows Luzuko Mxenge (played by Grootboom), a successful businessman who is husband to three very different, very strong wives: Bulelwa (played by Sodlaka), Zimkhita (played by Msutwana) and Nozuko (played by Bikitsha). But he wants another wife.

His decision to expand the family soon threatens to bring out the bitterness his wives have long suppressed ¬¬– but also comes with complications no one could have predicted, endangering his relationship with his heir-apparent. Speaking about the show, Shirley Adonisi, Director of Local Entertainment Channels at M-Net said they are excited to go to the Eastern Cape.
