WINNIE NTSHABA GRATEFUL FOR HOUSE OF ZWIDE ROLE

The Herd’s actress Winnie Ntshaba has a lot to be thankful for this year and we are celebrating all of these achievements with her.

Winnie will be playing the role of Faith Zwide on Rhythm City‘s replacement show House of Zwide that will premiere on Monday at 7 pm.

Speaking about her character, Winnie said, “Faith is not moved by what is seen. Faith will move in the midst of what is seen…In the midst of all the chaos right now, never loose your Faith. Meet Faith Zwide as we premier @HouseOfZwide on Monday the 19th July at 7pm…”

In another Instagram post, Winnie said, “Never forget to pray! And when you pray, believe you have received…BELIEVE. ALL things are possible to him who believes…Then put in the work….Cos FAITH without works is dead. Let us spread love! We are of God after all, God is love. Thank you for the love I am receiving for the new show”

Winnie is definitely getting a lot of love for this role and we cannot what she will do with it because one thing about her, she always comes in guns blazing for every role.

House of Zwide is a rags-to-riches aspirational tale, embodied by the tagline: Your Dreams Are Valid, No Matter Your Age. With Executive Producer Desiree Markgraaff from Bomb Productions producing alongside Anant Singh’s VideoVision Entertainment, House of Zwide promises to deliver on entertainment and keep viewers glued to their screens.

When the show was announced, ZAlebs reported that two big names, Baby Cele and Lindani Nkosi, will be starring on the telenovela as Mr. and Mrs. Nkosi.

Other actors include Isibaya’s Blade (real name Jeffrey Sekele), Thembisa Mdoda-Nxumalo and Generations stars Zikhona Sodlaka and Paballo Mavundla.

In a very emotional ending today (16 July) Rhythm City gave viewers a drama filled ending that only they can pull off. They paid tribute to Dumi Masilela (who played S’fiso on the show) who died in a botched hijacking in Thembisa by playing one of his loved songs from his album Eternal Crush, Ungasabi.

Fats proposed to his girlfriend Amanda, while Cuba and Jafta finally got their perfect ending as they also got engaged.

Mzi and Pearl also let go of everything that happened in the past and finally jetted off to the sunset to be together something that we all wanted to see because those two really showed us that true love truly conquers all. They loved hard and hated each other even harder but in the end, love got to them and we love it.

Blossom and Kop finally drifted away to the beautiful mountains of KZN to be together, build their house and grow up old together. Sabelo also got a happy ending as Fats finally handed in the reigns and made him manager of Kilowatt.

Nandi handed Khulekani to the cops on a silver platter and Khulekani ended up sharing a cell with his sworn enemy, Suffocate. Puleng and Pule were gearing up for war but we have no idea who they were planning on killing. That part was not explored. We suspect they wanted to blow Khulekani’s brains out but the cops took care of everything.

In true Rhythm City style, all the hot acts in South Africa were brought in to help us bid farewell to our favourite show. Kabalo Mabalane performed his classic song while Simmy performed her hit song, Ngihamba nawe.

We loved Rhythm City and we are gonna miss them for all the 14 years of magic they gave us.
