When is Thabo Bester and Dr Nandipha’s next court appearance?

Convicted murderer and Facebook rapist Thabo Bester and his girlfriend, disgraced doctor, Nandipha Magudumana will be seeing each other again in February 2024 – this was decided by the Bloemfontein Magistrate’s Court on Wednesday, 11 October, Group Up reported.

IN WHICH PRISONS ARE THABO BESTER AND DR NANDIPHA KEPT?
Dr Nandipha Magudumana is held at the Bizzah Makhate Correctional Centre in Kroonstad. Meanwhile, Thabo Bester is closely watched at the C-Max section of Pretoria’s Kgosi Mampuru Correctional Centre. The lawyer of the notorious Bester has previously argued that his client is allegedly inhumanly kept behind bars and handcuffed for 23 hours in his cell.

WHAT HAPPENED AT THE LAST COURT CASE?
Thabo Bester announced that he had two new and prominent advocates fighting for him. He added Advocate Dali Mpofu and Advocate Zandile Mshololo to his legal team. Mshololo is currently representing accused number five in the Senzo Meyiwa murder trial. Meanwhile, Mpofu is best known for his political contributions.
On the other hand, Dr Nandipha Magudumana was unable to step inside the dock as expected. Moments before she was supposed to set foot in court, her lawyer, Machini Motloung announced that she had fainted. He also said that she had not been feeling well and alleged that it was due to food poisoning.
Magistrate Estelle de Lange also dropped charges of three G4S employees who were implicated in Bester’s elaborate escape. Nastassja Jansen, Thabang Matthews Mier, and Moeketsi April Ramolula were let off the hook.

Thabo Bester is faced with several charges including defeating the ends of justice, fraud, corruption, violating a corpse, and arson. Meanwhile, Dr Nandipha Maguduman faces charges of abetting an inmate to escape from lawful custody, concealing an escaped offender, defeating the ends of justice, fraud, corruption, violating a corpse, and aiding.
