‘We are not your children and we will never be them’, these are some of the few words from Somizi’s response to police boss Bheki Cele.

“There is no December 31st. There won’t be any hitting of tins here. By 9 o’clock everyone should be in bed. So it is important to note that for that to happen we [SAPS] need to monitor that.”
South Africans got angry at the man’s manner of ordering them, and he’s been dragged over the abuse of power.
Somizi also joined as he addressed the situation in a video shared on Instagram.
The multitalented star says the people are not his children, so, he has no right to dictate when people should sleep.
The radio star further revealed that he will be up till 1 am in his apartment, and will stick to the preventive measures in other to curb the spread of COVID-19.
