Julius Malema’s radio mix on Metro FM leaves listeners begging for more

Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) leader Julius Malema joined radio and television personality Tbo Touch on his Metro FM radio show, The Touchdown, on Friday 24 June. The politician co-hosted the afternoon drive show with the radio star and surprised listeners with a DJ mix!

It’s not the first time Malema has shown off his DJ skills though. In November last year, he mixed up a storm at Soweto’s popular Konka nightclub.
After returning to radio six years after his exit, listeners were eager to hear Tbo Touch on the airwaves again. Julius Malema was one of the many who welcomed the radio presenter back to radio earlier this year.

For his show on 24 June, Tbo Touch welcomed the EFF leader as a special guest. The two dived right into politics, Malema’s personal life and even some social issues currently faced by South Africa

Malema is no stranger to radio and was featured on Sizwe Dhlomo’s Kaya FM radio show in July last year.

Malema debuted his DJing skills at EFF Member of Parliament and former party spokesperson Mbuyiseni Ndlozi’s graduation celebration in 2017. At the time, Ndlozi had obtained his PhD in Political Studies from the University of Witwatersrand, in Johannesburg.

The EFF leader played a DJ set during his visit to Metro FM and it’s safe to say, he shut it down! The politician’s playlist included amapiano star Felo Le Tee’s hit Dipatje Tsa Felo, featuring Myztro and Daliwonga.

He also included DBN Gogo’s unreleased Amapiano banger, Life Changing.
