Uzalo Actor Siyabonga Shibe Speaks Out On Being ‘Fired’ From The Show

Uzalo actor Siyabonga Shibe has blasted the media for alleging that he was fired from the show.

Reports have been circulating that the actor was shown the door after he had a falling out with the producers and demanded a salary increase.

Siyabonga, Dawn Thandeka King and Thulani Shane’s days were said to be numbered on the show as they weren’t in good books with the producers.

Siyabonga took to Instagram to rubbish the reports.

He said people have been calling him left and right wanting to know what’s going on with his future in Uzalo

I have had so many calls wanting to know whether I have been fired from @uzalo_sabc1 or not. I have been ignoring the issue for too long now, I want to put it on record that me and my producers are in a good space and there was never any fights for whatever reason.

We are concentrating on delivering a good product for @mzansi_fosho since this covid19 has affected many. Such reporting affects many my family, my fans, fans of uzalo family.
I repeat i have never fought with anyone and i have not been booted out as some reporting claim.

ellow castmate, Dawn Thandeka King also echoed the same sentiments in the comments.

“Yazi ngempela sekwanele, this is really tiring, can it stop now, can it really stop. It’s enough” she wrote

It looks like all is well KwaMashu and Siyabonga will not be going anywhere anytime soon.
