Renowned South African female DJ, Uncle Waffles, took to Twitter to reflect on and celebrate the video that launched her to popularity prior to making waves in the South African music industry.

It has been a year since Uncle Waffles, Lungelihle Zwane, uploaded the video that was an absolute hit, receiving a staggering 5.5 million views on Twitter.

The video shows Uncle Waffles dancing to her set while on the turn-tables, with the crowd really enjoying her as DJ, vibing to her set.

“This 30 minute set I wasn’t suppose to get completely changed my life, I’m forever greatful thank you God,” Waffles said in a Tweet looking back at the video.
