TV EXECUTIVE ALETTA ALBERTS HAS DIED

One of the most influential TV executives, Aletta Alberts has died from coronavirus complications.

She is MultiChoice’s head of content and third-party channels and arguably the African continent’s most powerful and influential TV tastemaker.

On Tuesday, MultiChoice reported her passing to TVwithThinus.

“MultiChoice is deeply saddened by the news of the passing of Aletta Alberts, MultiChoice’s head of content and third-party channels,”

Social media users express their pain at her passing including her friend, Florence Masebe.

“News of Aletta’s passing is particularly heavy to process. I’m beyond gutted,” she said.
