Tsholofelo Matshaba On How Her Current Storyline On The River Has Afforded Her More Healing Since Losing Her Husband. Tsholofelo Matshaba lost her real life husband, Chris Matshaba to cancer two years ago. Now the veteran actress is mourning her TV husband Ntsizwa.

Tsholo plays the role of Rakgadi on the The River 1Magic. For her role on the telenovela Tsholo is Ntsizwa’s new fiance. Unfortunately Ntsizwa who has been suffering from critical kidney cancer passed away a few days after proposing to her.

Viewers were saddened by all this, as everyone has been waiting with baited breath for their wedding. Now that Ntsizwa is no more, it means there is no wedding. Ntsizwa and Rakgadi Kedibonye captivated viewers with their love story. Tsholo displayed an Oscar winning performance, on the scenes where she is mourning Ntsizwa.

The actress received compliments for a job well done from fans of The River. Award winning actors like Seputla Sebogodi and Masasa Mbangeni also applauded her for a great job. Tsholo is thankful that this deep storyline has afforded her more healing since losing Chris two years ago.

“Our art as storytellers, collectively, is supposed to entertain, comfort and heal the audience. Because Gesumtkunstwerk was at play, I was afforded more healing. I hope I did you proud My Love, My Angel, love you eternally,” she said.
