Things not looking good for Gomora actress Sanna Mchunu (Zodwa) – Close sources spill the beans

Gomora actress Sanna Mchunu is going through tough times. Her sister is apparently not well after she had a stroke.

Sources say Sanna hasn’t been herself for the last few days. “Sanna is normally a bubbly person, but this week she’s sad, she’s been crying throughout and it is affecting her work. She told us her sister is sick, she’s suffering from stroke and she’s the only one who can take care of her. Seeing her like this is painful,” said one source.

Another said: “I’m not sure how long her sister has been sick, but from my observation, things are not looking good at all. I know Sanna is trying, by all means, to be strong but she’s not coping. I also know naturally, she is a strong person and she’ll get through this. All she needs is our support and prayers.”

Sanna later took to Facebook and asked people for their prayers. On Wednesday, she wrote: “I decided to go and get some fresh air because I’m not feeling well spiritually. Therefore, I’m asking for your prayers.”

In a follow-up post she wrote: “My friends, it’s painful when one of your family members is sick.”

Her supporters took turns in sending her get well messages.

Bonisile Dlamini said: “I’m sending prayers to u Mzo wami, may you be healed in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, amen.”

Sbongile said: “I know that pain, may she get better and my prayers are with her. My she get well in Jesus’ name.”

Approached by the publication, Sanna said: “I was going through a difficult time but now I am recovering. Unfortunately, I cannot disclose anything, not even her name. But I want to clarify that it wasn’t me who was sick but a family member. I’d also like to thank my supporters, friends and everyone who supported and prayed for me. It means a lot for me and I’m grateful.”
