The Fergusons Respond To Dineo Langa’s Alleged Firing

Twitter has been abuzz after the Sunday World revealed that Dineo Langa had been given the boot.

According to the article she had been axed for askining for time off to shoot a movie.

Tweeps were quick to drag the Fergusons given their history with Vatiswa Ndara, Sello Maake Ka Ncube and most recently Rami Chuene.

It is public knowledge that these three didn’t leave Ferguson Films on good terms. Vatiswa even went as far as writing a 6 page expose on the Fergusons and how the exploit workers.

Well the Fergusons have responded to the latest claims of mistreatment.

According IOL, The show runner Laura Nell denies claims that Dineo Langa was fired.

“Dineo’s contract was not terminated. She is still on payroll until the end of May. Dineo was released to go and shoot her movie. Scripts had to be rewritten to accommodate this as she was on an ‘A’ storyline. She was scheduled to return in April, but due to the lockdown, everything has changed.”

Another actress whose role is also up in the air is Zenande Mfenyane. Last month we reported that she had been allegedly fired for getting pregnant.

She of course denied the rumours and Mzansi Magic backed her.

” Please note that Zenande Mfenyana is not leaving The Queen and has not been written off the storyline”

Now the word is the actress is taking a break form the soapie “due to personal reasons”.
