Sphelele Mzimela was fired from South Africa’s most-watched drama series Uzalo after the producers discovered that she was pregnant. The celebrated star actress played the character of Mazaza at the daily hit soapie. Rumour has it that the actress was fired because the production team was disappointed with her getting pregnant.

Mzimela exit came barely a year after joining Uzalo after exiting Mzansi Magic’s telenovela Isibaya.
Keke Mphuthi

Keke Mphuthi is well known for her role of Princess Dipuo on The Throne. The Mzansi actress alleged that she was fired by Ferguson Films from The Trone after falling pregnant.

The celebrated star actress broke the silence of her shocking exit from The Throne on social media. She went on to lash out how cruel the Fergusons were. Keke even went on to review how she almost lost her child due to the stress. She even alleged that the company attempted to blacklist her. The actress tweeted,

ll don’t even know half the trauma I went through because of the Ferguson’s, because I was pregnant and even before then I was earning below minimum on two PRODUCTIONS I PLAYED LEAD ON … then I find out they trying to get me blacklisted,”

Gabisile Tshabalala

Actress and media personality Gabisile Tshabalala who played the role of Gontse on e.tv soapie Scandal! alleged that she had been fired from the show because she fell pregnant. The star actress has since become an advocate for good working conditions and working standards in the entertainment industry.

The celebrated actress in recent years has been involved in online wars with production companies such as the Ferguson films due to their poor working ethics.

Manaka Ranaka

Veteran actress Manaka Ranaka who portrays the role of the tough but kind Lucy Diale on Generations: The Legacy, recently revealed that she was fired from a job because she refused to abort her pregnancy.

The celebrated Mzansi star actress revealed that at one point in her acting career she was fired for refusing to abort. Ranaka Manaka indicated that the women who she worked for told her to abort the pregnancy. Her failure to do so, saw her being fired as a result.

Sphelele Mzimela who was fired from Uzalo over sex gives birth to twins

Sphelele Mzimela has given birth to twin boys.

The former Uzalo actress, who also had a role on Mzansi Magic’s Isibaya, took to Twitter to announce her babies were born last week.

“The father of my children, his mother is a twin. I have never been happier but carrying twins is wild.”

The actress, who revealed her pregnancy in April and announced she’d be expecting twins in July, named her babies Ntando and Mellie.

On Instagram, Sphelele wrote that her gogo had told her twins ran in their family.

“My grandmother (my mother’s mother) who I hadn’t seen since I was eight came to visit us a few weeks ago. She revealed to me that twins actually run in our family,” she posted.
“The father of my children, his mother is a twin. I have never been happier but carrying twins is wild.”

In March, we reported that Sphelele was fired from Uzalo because of her pregnancy.

“She’d faint and sometimes feel hot or vomit while shooting her scenes. In fact, she’s been in and out of hospital. The producers were out of ideas as to how they’d create a story around her real pregnancy,”. She was replaced by Mpume Ngwenya.

Former Uzalo actress Sphelele Mzimela has finally joined the mother day gang and has announced the birth of her twin boys on social media.

Mzimela took to twitter to share her conicals of motherhood which seems to be very messy, sharing that her child urinated on her during a diaper change which should surely be an indication into motherhood according to the actress.

Sphelele Mzimela reveals she is expecting Twins and said she is excited about her motherhood journey

Previous Uzalo on-screen character Sphelele Mzimela has uncovered that she has two buns heating in her attractive stove. The entertainer who as of late appeared her pregnancy in the wake of keeping it secretive took to Instagram to uncover the news and said she is amped up for her parenthood venture.
