Rapper Cassper Nyovest may be making waves as a resident groover in the amapiano genre, but the rapper still flexes the ol’ hip-hop way. This time he reminded people he was chilling and said the value of the jewellery on his hand could buy one of them a VW Golf GTI and then some.

The rapper took to his Instagram Stories to share moments from his Monday which he spent chilling with his friend at club Ayepyep in Cape Town, where they were enjoying the popular Mogudu (tribe) Monday.

In his one of his videos, Cassper greets one of his mates on camera by extending his hand adorned with diamond-encrusted accessories (a ring and a watch). He then proceeds to ask him, “Ke ho dumedisitse ka bokae moo? (Do you know how much I’ve just greeted you with) ke GTI le eng le eng moo? (It’s a GTI and what else?).”

His friends all laugh in response before Cassper turns the camera to selfie mode and says: “Ah nna hao sa tle, ong’google! (If you don’t believe the hype, google me!)

Rapper Cassper Nyovest has been left harmed and heartbreaken after a youthful vagrant that he had attempted to protect picked to re-visitation of the roads.

“Really wish I could accomplish another thing to help, however Yolanda, my group and I have attempted everything we could. Mzwandile is 21yrs old, we can’t battle or power him to do anything. Mufasa proceeded to wish the best for Mzwandile, saying that he trusted that sometime in the not so distant future, he would leave the roads.

The rapper lifted the lid on his Malawian roots when he took to Twitter and spoke about how his origins stem from that country.

Abuti FillUp told how his grandfather and a group of friends walked from Malawi to SA and ended up settling in North West.

In more like a tell-all tweet, Cassper revealed how honoured he was to get the opportunity to perform in the country of his ancestry.

“Performing in Malawi in December. It’s always special for me ’cause that’s where my family tree starts.”

“(There are) too many broken souls on these apps. That’s why I keep my private life away. That’s why my private life is so good and healthy!” he added. Speaking to Somizi on the star’s hit TV talk show Dinner at Somizi’s, Cassper said he wanted to teach his child to be respectful and God-fearing.

“Overall I think the most important thing I will teach my son is to love God, and secondly to be fearless and just go for your dreams. Just to add your stroke to the painting of the world,” he said.
