Pearl Modiadie kept a very low profile during her pregnancy. The Lunch With Thomas and Pearl co-host refused to comment, post pictures and dished out the most hilarious clapbacks to Twitter trolls who tried to invade her privacy with spicy comments.

The radio and TV host is now a couple of months postpartum and has decided that she is ready to start working on her body. She posted a pic of herself looking fit in her gym gear and judging by her Instagram stories she’s also ready to work out at home as she copped her own treadmill.

Although a certain tabloid spilt the tea on Pearl’s pregnancy, she refused to budge and only announced news of her son’s birth after he was born. On 21 September 2020 Pearl took to her social media accounts where she posted a pic of her newborn baby without revealing his face. “I’ve longed for you. To finally have you here feels incredibly surreal… a feeling only my soul can deeply comprehend. Welcome to the world my love…the purest of hearts. You’re perfect in every way. Your father and I love you dearly,” wrote Pearl.

Pearl then rolled out amazing pictures of her maternity shoot but the trolls came out in full force saying it is too skimpy and she only revealed her baby’s gender and name (Olivier Lewatle) when she posted pics of her stunning nursery.

Although she shows off her baby boy, Olivier Lewatle, she makes show never to reveal the face and it leaves many wondering what he looks like.

Pearl has kept all aspects of motherhood low-key, especially her pregnancy, which was announced directly from her well after she had actually given birth. We only found out the name and the gender when she did the nursery reveal.

She was even adament about keeping her pregnancy a secret but that plan went out of the window when a tabloid leaked the news.

“We can confirm that Pearl Modiadie is pregnant and that she and her partner are thrilled to be first-time parents. Reports about how far along she is are inaccurate, and she prefers not to share this information. She’s appreciative of the well wishes already coming through but has decided to embrace this moment privately with her partner, family and very close friends for now,”

Although she had a relatively great reception from her fans some dragged her maternity shoot for being too skimpy but she had no time for their trolling.

Pearl Modiadie reveals bedroom of her new-born baby and it is too cute

New mom and award-winning TV host Pearl is surely over the moon ever since her newborn baby came on earth and she is flaunting each and every precious moment of her little one!

Pearl Modiadie is enjoying her new role as a mother and she has finally given us a sneak peek of her baby and a private tour in the baby’s tastefully decorated nursery.

Taking to Instagram, Pearl shared gorgeous snaps of her lavish baby nursey, which by the colours suggests that it’s a boy and we also got to learn that her baby boy’s name is Olivier Lewatle which is a combination of both his parents’ heritages.

In the post, the new mom gushed over her baby who is already turning one month old, and how the nursery is where the most precious memories are created during mommy and me time.

Pearl’s first few days as a new mommy have been going well, especially with her sisters and baby daddy by her side taking care of the baby and her.

“I’m learning…some days have been better than others, but my goodness… having my baby in my arms is an indescribable feeling. I melt when I look at that little face,” tweeted Pearl.

Even though she has opted to reveal more than she expects, one thing she definitely will not reveal any time soon is the name of her baby.

Nugget has been the name Pearl has settled on for the name. The name came about following Gugu finding derivatives for Pearl’s name. Nugget was one of the derivatives, which fits perfectly. Pearl co-signed the name and that is now what we shall refer to the baby as on social media.

But one of the recent posts revealed how baby daddy is besotted on the little one. The video features the baby daddy nestling the little one. The video is adorable and has made it clear that that daddy is as in love with the little one as the mother. Not much is known about the baby daddy’s identity, except that he is foreign and loaded.

Renowned TV presenter Pearl Modiadie took over the SABC 1 channel again last night, with the return of It Takes A Village Season 3. The TV presenter was recently announced as the new host of the show.

In this third season of the show, Mzansi follows Pearl as she goes back to her hometown Tembisa, where she helps young people to mend their family relationships. It’s a real honest to goodness ‘going back home’ story and South Africa is set to be behind her every step of the way!

Pearl had previously hosted Zaziwa on the channel. Speaking to ZAlebs the SABC Spokesperson Mmoni Seapolelo dropped a bombshell by confirming that the show was canned, “A decision was taken not to recommission the show for another season, the channel is, however, exploring other content ideas and formats in the slot, allowing room to curate a diverse offering to viewers,” she said.

Following the shocking news, Pearl Modiadie also raised her eyebrows and explained that she was not informed that the show has been given the chop. The TV star said she only found out on socila media.

Congratulations are in order for TV personality and radio presenter Pearl Modiadie who just announced that her child in born. Pearl first gave her followers a hint in a not-so-cryptic tweet where she said “overjoyed” and immediately got flooded with congratulatory messages.

Confirming the news that her bundle of joy has arrived, Pearl shared a picture without showing her baby’s face, as it is a belief by many people to not show their newborns faces for at least a certain period of time.
