Mduduzi Mabaso joins cast of “The Estate”

Mduduzi Mabaso has finally joined the cast of The Estate as Khulekani Nzimande.

The star will make his debut next week on Friday, 9 December 2022, at 7 pm.

Khulekani is a traditionally inclined but global man, assertive and passionate. He is dominant, fearless, and cares about his family and his sister Noxolo played by Lerato Mvelase

On-screen Suffocate Ndlovu is dupped as the king of DK as he runs a bloodthirsty but cool gang, probably Mduduzi will go into the grave with his Suffocate Ndlovu name.

The seasoned star actor is one of the most celebrated and followed actors in Mzansi. Mabaso has graced our screens as part of the Rhythm City cast since its first season in 2007.

The veteran thug, business mogul is well-known for waging wars with the then famous invincible David Genaro. Of late Suffocate has been keeping many glued on their screens with his new rival wars with Khulekhani Ngobese.

The battle between him and character Kulekani Ngobese has been fuming for months and has kept the fans on their toes on what will happen next.

Not so long ago rumour had it that Ndlovu was exiting Rhythm City for new gigs but the latter rubbished the exit rumours. However, Mabaso did admit that he was going to star in another etv’s hit soapie Imbewu. Mabaso will now be playing a “self-made millionaire who moves to Joburg to start a new life”

Obviously one would wonder with his vast experience and craft how much is he paid to keep us entertained. In recent years Rhythm Production hasn’t disclosed how much cast members racks in for their services.

Salaries of actors vary with the production house however salaries of the highest-paid actors in the entertainment industry are based on variables such as show ratings, years of experience, and obviously craft competence.

No doubt that Suffocate Ndlovu is paid a lot given his experience and craft. For his Suffocate Ndlovu role, Suffocate Ndlovu is paid between R110 000 and R135 000 per month. Surely with this huge amount of money, it’s hard to lure Suffo away from Rhythm City.

Apart from being in TV shows, Mabaso has also starred in various movies among them being Hotel Rwanda in 2004, Catch a Fire of 2006, Meokgo and the Stickfighter in 2006 and Blood Diamond from 2006. Earlier, in 1992, he appeared in a theatre production by the name Divide and Rule. Ndlovu has archived a lot in his illustrious career which spans for decades.
