Cassper Nyovest says yes to Zozibini Sister on #idolssa

Idols SA season 16 on Sunday evening made its return and it came back with a trend-worthy episode that had viewers talking.

Award-winning rapper Cassper Nyovest was the first guest judge on the popular singing competition show and he definitely enjoyed his time on the judging panel, so much so that he wouldn’t mind a permanent seat at the table.

The show started off on a high note as the first contestant to receive a golden ticket was too excited that her wig fell off. Siwaphiwe was so excited that she snatched her own edges and then had Somizi twirl her wig in the air. We sure babes will have her wig secured next time.

At the auditions, Mufasa’s crush Zozibini Tunzi’s younger sister Sibabalwe showed up at the auditions and managed to get enough Yes’s to get a golden ticket.

Some viewers felt that Miss Universe’s younger sister didn’t really deserve to move through to the next round and got through because of her famous surname.

Cassper Nyovest, his Dad Letsebela Phoolo has died

South African musician and producer, Cassper Nyovest, posted on his Instagram page that his Dad Letsebela Phoolo has died.

Details of his death are not yet publicly known. The news comes just minutes after the rapper announced that he was going to be a guest judge on Idols SA.
If there’s one man Cassper Nyovest has genuine respect and love for it’s his father. Cassper Nyovest wrote the song Superman for his father.

Cass has consistently self-promoted his album which releases on Friday, 11 September 2020, as he believes that it is his best body of work thus far. He has also pleaded with his audience to truly listen to every element of the album, as he has put in a monumental amount of hard work and effort into this project.

The rapper has also stated that he has shows scheduled for 2020, and has advised his fans to stay locked on socials for any forthcoming announcements.
