Rapper Cassper Nyovest has opened up about being a “baller”, saying that one day he will be a billionaire with the big boys. Most SA musicians like to consider themselves high rollers, raking in the cash, but artist Cassper Nyovest is pretty humble about his earnings.

The star took to Twitter when a fan asked him how he sleeps at night with such a high bank balance. Cassper told the fan he isn’t “rich rich” and he aspired to be that wealthy.

I’m not rich rich yet. I’m just balling! Rich rich is when you own a jumbo jet and you hire it out to rappers like me.” He shared that one day he would “a billionaire”.

Cassper often speaks up about being moneyed (or not).The star has previously said that he considers himself rich because he can provide for his family. He also took to Twitter earlier this year to express how grateful he is to be in a strong financial position, but said he doesn’t have Rihanna money.

Somizi and friends Surprises Cassper Nyovest with a sweet Dadchelor Party

The countdown has officially began to the arrival of Cassper Nyovest‘s bundle of joy, and the love he has been receiving is already palpable. Somizi who is Cassper’s bestie took to Instagram yesterday, to share a video of a surprise “Dadchelor party” they threw for the rapper.

Somgaga including the likes of Zola 7, decided to drive to Cassper’s house to shower him with gifts. Somizi explained that he went to shop for a nappy bag for Cassper’s soon to born baby at the Luis Vuitton shop, but he found Cassper at the store who also went to purchase the same bag.

Somizi said he then decided to go to a different store to purchase the gift. The rapper said although he is not a fan of surprises, but appreciates their kind gesture.

But the hitmaker is just as excited about another big event happening soon: the birth of his son.

The star took to Twitter to share a photo of Nike sneakers that he purchased for his baby boy.

“Lil’ man already dripping like his daddy. Got my son his first kicks,” said the artist.

Cassper recently threw a baby shower for his baby’s mama, Thobeka Majozi.

It was a lavish affair with the mother-to-be pictured in blue, surrounded by white roses.

Tweeps reacted to the event, claiming that Cassper had made a fashion faux-pas in a purple hoodie and camo pants. The star hit back.

Rapper Cassper Nyovest has found himself being dragged on Twitter for his outfit, at Thobeka Majozi‘s baby shower yesterday. The baby shower was hosted in Durban and attended by the who’s who of the limelight.

The rapper rocked a purple hoodie and camouflage pants which has the social media streets talking. Cassper is known for pushing boundaries when it comes to his looks, but yesterday we do not know what went wrong.

Mzansi rapper Cassper Nyovest threw a lavish baby shower for his fiancee Thobeka Majozi today in Durban.

The party, which was attended by closest friends of Thobeka and Cassper, was held at Nto’s Boutique Hotel in La Lucia.

Thobeka (28) and Cassper are expecting their first baby next month. The baby is a boy.

She is expected to deliver on 11 September.

The couple met a few years and Cassper paid lobola last year.

He told Daily Sun today that he was too excited and can’t wait to be a father for the first time in his life.

Cassper Nyovest is putting the final touches to his much-anticipated album ANM which is coming out on the 11th of September. The album has big names such as Zola 7, Busiswa, and Samthing Soweto that will feature on it and Nyovest is very excited about it.

Although things seem to be going smoothly recently Nyovest shared on Twitter that he and his signee Nadia Nakai do not always see eye to eye and they were pictured arguing with Nakia even throwing her hands in the air.

Nadia Nakia was the first one to post the pictures of herself and her boss having an intense conversation. The Amai rapper revealed on Twitter that she was the last one to be called for a feature as she wrote:

Cassper Nyovest went on to reply to Nadia’s tweet and explained what was going on and he jokingly said

Despite the two butting heads they still joked about it and it is clear that they is no beef between the two of them. Nadia is signed to Cassper Nyovest’s, Family Tree and she released her debut album, Nadia Naked, under the record label over a year ago.

Cassper Nyovest bids Farewell to his Step-Father

Cassper Nyovest revealed that he and his family finally laid his step-father to rest with a touching social media post.

Mufasa had previously revealed that his “father” had passed on, and later clarified that he was referring to his step-father that was in a relationship with his mother.

In touching post, Cassper first shared a video revealing that his step-father’s burial spot was a grave away from his mentor and inspiration; the late hip-hop icon, Jabulani “HHP” Tsambo.

Watch: Cassper Nyovest and Busiswa hit some lit dance moves

Cassper Nyovest and Busiswa served dance goals, while the two were studio together. The two were working on a single for Cassper’s “A.M.N,” but still managed to have fun.

In a video that was taken from Cassper’s Instagram story, the video shows the two musicians kill their ensemble dance routine. Of course, the sound to the video was cut to not share any teasers from the album.

But it seems that tweeps thought the song is not going to be hip-hop as Cassper promised the entire album will be. Busiswa had to take to Twitter to tell tweeps to relax and appreciate good music, and not care about genres.
