Suspect arrested for Jabulile Nkosi’s death

A suspect has been arrested in connection with the death of 18-year-old Jabulile Nkosi.

Her body was found next to the Jukskei River in Alexandra. She had gunshots wounds to her head.

Alexandra residents say they will be putting pressure on the justice system and will fight for Jabulile.

Earlier this week, dozens of pupils and concerned residents marched to the local police station demanding justice for the slain matric pupil.

“I can confirm first a suspect has been arrested,” said Sandile Memela. “The suspect is due to appear on the 17th of September.

“We will put pressure on our judiciary to say we need to put an end on gbv. Now it’s time for action.
