Sonia Mbele On Why She Stands With Women Who Have Been Through The Most
In most cases your own experiences teaches you empathy. This is exactly why Sonia Mbele shared a post on Instagram about standing with women who have been through it all.
Quite a number of women in the entertainment industry have been sharing their sad stories on social media. The likes of Penny Lebyane, Lerato Moloi, Lorraine Moropa, and many others have opened up about the pain they have suffered years ago or in the not so distant future.
Just recently, another female personality, Norma Gigaba has been trending for all the sad reasons. There has been allegations that she damaged a Mercedes Benz G Wagon which belonged to Malusi Gigaba’s friend. It is reported that she got angry after finding out that her husband was cheating on her and she spend a night behind bars after smashing the car.
In some instances, when things like these happen to women, words like karma, drama queen, gold digger, bitter, petty are sometimes thrown around. It takes empathic individuals like Sonia to look at things from a different angle, and feel sorry for the women who are going through something.
As someone who has went through painful events herself, Sonia feels sorry for fellow women. “It may not make sense to some…but it makes sense to us…when I say “us”. I’m talking to and about women who have been through the most! Women who have had to appear sane to those who’ve never been tested nor tried,” she said.
Although she doesn’t condone some behavior, the actress and entrepreneur understands that at some point we all need someone who can stand with us. “Listen I’m not condoning anyone, anything or any behavior. But I know I had to stand on my own when all I needed and wanted was for someone to “see me”! Not only my struggles or my faults, but also my pain,” she concluded.
