Somizi Mhlongo thanks Beyoncé and Tina Knowles for Honoring his late Mother

South African media personality, Somizi Mhlongo, publically thanked the legendary, Beyoncé Knowles and her mother, Tina, for paying tribute to his mother, Mary Twala.

The mother-daughter duo acknowledged Mary’s death on social media, and showed their gratitude towards her for being a part of Black Is King.

In an Instagram post on Wednesday, 5 August 2020, Somizi stated, “I’ have all the rights to brag about the queen that is my mother…. what a way to exit mother earth.

He thanked Beyoncé and Tina for showing his mother the respect she deserved following her death, and also whilst filming on set.
