Somizi invites young designers to sketch killer ‘Somgaga Outfits’ for Idols SA
“Symbols SA” judge Somizi Mhlongo-Motaung is allowing up and coming style creators a chance to make him executioner outfits for the new period of the unscripted TV drama.
Taking to Instagram on Wednesday, the “Living The Dream With Somizi” star told his 3.1 million fans that he’s been battling to discover outfits for his shoots since the national lockdown.
In the video, Somizi referenced that he had a plan to support youthful, obscure style planners to work with him, in the push to enable them “to assemble their own brands”.
“I’m doing my part in building another person’s image and improve this world a spot, each creator in turn,” he shared.
“I understood that we’re coming nearer to the live presentation of Idols season 16, and I resembled what I will do any other way this time as far as my outfits. I thought let me welcome style creators that would work around my character… what sort of outfits I like… explicitly for Idols.”
Somizi asked every single youthful fashioner to email him their portrayals for the “Somgaga outfits”.
“I’m likewise into something basic that has my character, loads of innovativeness, bunches of thought put into it. Consistently I need to wear another architect, obscure originator or a planner who needs me to push them to another level.
“Whoever I select, I will assist you with re-appropriating the material, so I will pay for the material. No chancers. Just qualified originators. The cut-off date is June 20. ” he said.
Somizi hinted that the show is going to go live in a couple of months though the details are still sketchy.
“We might not have the audience. I do know us judges will be adhering to the rules. Our sitting arrangements are also going to coronavirus safe.”
