‘Sold her soul’: SA reacts to Nomzamo Mbatha’s Xmas with Oprah

South African actress Nomzamo Mbatha has definitely grown as an actress. The star has bagged a number of international roles and is now rubbing shoulders with the who’s who of Hollywood. In fact, this Christmas, she spent some time with one of the world’s wealthiest talk show hosts, Oprah Winfrey.

While many of her local fans couldn’t be happier for her, some seemingly believe that she has “sold her soul” for the fame and riches.

The Shaka Ilembe star has not only bagged some big roles in huge US productions, she also has a very close relationship with Hollywood bigwig Oprah Winfrey.

In fact, Nomzamo spent her Christmas holidays with the famous talkshow host and photos from the special time have gone viral here in SA.

Many social media users have shared how happy they are that she has reached such a huge level of success.

Others have however shared their thoughts about her having “sold her soul” to be where she is.

“Something is just off with Oprah Winfrey, bo Nomzamo just like things soon they’ll be crying about creepy island activities.” one person said while another wrote:

“I really love Oprah, but there is no way I could feel comfortable Around her, let alone be on the same table and having conversation with her, I will definitely be uncomfortable the whole time, but usistrong ugal..”
