Simz Shares Words Of Comfort With Connie Ferguson

The nation is still in disbelief following the untimely passing of media mogul and wife to Connie Ferguson, Shona. The news about his passing broke on Friday afternoon – it was reported that Uncle Sho died from Covid complications.

Actress, Simz Ngema who lost her husband in 2017 shared some words of comfort with Connie. “It’s that moment that you realise, nothing else matters. Only love, family and the legacy you Leave behind matters,” she said to Connie.

Simz also told her to keep the love that they have shared in her heart and not focus on the loss. “You did it! Uncle Sho. All of it and you did it well. Take a bow king. @connie_ferguson try and remember the love and not the loss, it’s the beautiful memories that will keep you going. Things will never be the same again, you will never be the same again but you will get stronger.”

Ferguson films issued a statement yesterday confirming the passing of the icon. They have also asked for privacy at this time to allow them to mourn. More details will be shared soon.

It is with great sadness that we confirm the passing of Mr Shona Ferguson. He passed away at noon today (Friday 30 July 2021).
Mr Ferguson’s untimely passing was due to Covid-19 related complications, and not a heart operation as reported by the media.
We ask that you give the family time to process this painful loss, and respect their space during this time.

More details will follow in due course.

Sho’s passing just comes a few weeks after Connie announced her brother’s passing.”Budas, I thank God that I was able to spend some time with you on Pops’ birthday. After so many years! I believe this was God’s way of giving us the opportunity to say goodbye, to build final memories together, and to celebrate life one final time together.”

“You, me, and Tony were the three musketeers growing up. So many memories that just bring a smile to my face! Your infectious laughter, how you would slap me on the shoulder when you burst out laughing! Your special signature walk swinging your arms to the back! So many memories! I love you, big bro. I will never forget you.”

At the end of her heartfelt outpour, she asked that her brother pass her love to their late mother. “I’m sorry your last moments on this earth were so painful and uncomfortable! Rest now. God has taken that pain away. You join the angels that advocate for us daily on the other side. Give my love to Moms. She’s waiting to welcome you with open arms! I love you, big bro. Now rest ANGEL,” she said.
