Showmax confirms delay in Babes Wodumo and Mampintsha’s Uthando Lodumo
Showmax has confirmed that the premiere of Babes Wodumo and Mampintsha’s reality show, Uthando Lodumo, has been postponed due to the national lockdown, which has delayed their wedding.
Showmax issued a statement today, 15 January 2021, confirming that the highly anticipated reality series, Uthando Lodumo, which stars notorious couple, Babes Wodumo and Mampintsha, has been delayed indefinitely. According to the streaming platform, with the show centering around the couple’s impending nuptials, the national lockdown has prevented them from continuing with their plans.
As stipulated under Alert Level 3 restrictions, all gatherings have been prohibited, meaning that Babes Wodumo and Mampintsha will not be allowed to legally have anyone in attendance for their traditional or white wedding. Showmax stated, “Showmax Original reality series, Uthando Lodumo, about Babes Wodumo and Mampintsha’s traditional and white weddings, has been delayed by COVID-19 until weddings are possible again.”
The reality series was expected to premiere in late January 2021, and will now most likely air in mid to late 2021, in accordance with the government regulations.
