Shebeshxt pulls a no show at court for attempted murder

Controversial Mzansi musician Lehlogonolo Chauke known as Shebeshxt, who was recently involved in a car accident missed his pre-trial on Thursday, 11 July.

Limpopo Chronicle reports that the Ambulance hitmaker Shebeshxt was absent at Lebowakgomo Regional Court for his pre-trial for attempted murder.

Chauke who’s been out on bail could not attend court proceedings due to his sickness.

The NPA tells the publication that the court postponed the matter to Friday, 19 July 2024. This will enable the rapper to provide a medical certificate to show his inability to attend court.

He was scheduled to appear in court for a 2022 case after allegedly stabbing a man in Lebowakgomo.

Mashudu Malabi-Dzhangi, who is Limpopo’s National Prosecuting Authority (NPA) spokesperson confirmed his trial to Sunday World.

“The matter is set down for plea and trial for 11 July 2024 at the Lebowakgomo regional court D,” adds Malabi-Dzhangi.

Chauke is healing from a fatal car accident which claimed the life of his nine-year-old, Onthatile Chuene.

Shebeshxt’s daughter, Onthatile Chuene was laid to rest on Saturday, 22 June, at Lebowakgomo cemetery in Zone F.

The publication adds that the recovering Limpopo rapper was wheelchaired to his daughter’s funeral and carried an oxygen cylinder.

He was reportedly unable to go to the cemetery to witness the final sendoff of his daughter, Onthatile Chuene.

The rapper arrived at his home in a minibus and was wrapped up in a mini blanket and wore a woolen hat.

The publication revealed that he was accompanied by security details, medical staff and was pushed to the marquee to join the mourners.

It is reported the rapper broke down and cried painfully when he saw his daughter’s coffin. Security guards also warned mourners to not take pictures of the rapper.
