Shauwn Mkhize remembers her Late Mother

This morning’s Instagram post from Shauwn Mkhize, aka Mam Mkhize was different from her usual light-hearted uploads.

Instead, she took the moment to remember her late mother, writing. “I would like to dedicate today to my mom, my role model, rock mentor QHAWEKAZI LAMI.

She also shared that she wished she could be half the woman that her mother was and also spend a bit more time with her. “I wish I could be half of what you were, I love you and miss you a lot I wish God could have given us more time with you, MAY YOUR SOUL REST IN PEACE.”

Coming across an old photo of her mother made her shed a tear. “When I came across this photo I was so emotional I LOVE YOU MAMA ……….you were one hard nut to crack and you are irreplaceable in my heart.

I will forever be great full and appreciative for everything that you install in me.”

Our favourite rich auntie also opened up about doing her best to follow in her mom’s footprints and encouraged those who still have their moms to cherish them.
