Shauwn Mkhize hosts Power FM lunchtime talk show

South African media personality and businesswoman, Shauwn Mkhize, stepped out of her comfort zone to tackle the world of radio hosting, for her new gig on Power FM. The reality star debuted on the 987 Woman Edition of Power FM’s Power Lunch, on Friday, 28 August 2020.

The Kwa Mam’Mkhize star co-hosted alongside the show’s regular host, Mpho Letsholonyane, who helped guide her along the first show.

Shauwn took to Instagram after the show to share the generous amount of flowers she received from her friends and family who praised her for a job well done! She stated that although she had pushed herself to do something different, she was proud that she was able to conquer her nervousness.

She stated, “Today, I stepped out of my comfort zone and tried something new… It’s very important to challenge yourself and enter into new ground. I was so nervous about my first radio show hosting gig, but I soon shed off the fear.

Fans praised her for taking on the new gig with such ease, and believed that she was the perfect addition to the show. Mzwandile CK Mbatha stated, “You were amazing on power FM, I listened to the show and it was so beautiful to hear you interviewing Nomzamo, Kelly and Winnie so effortless.
