MESSAGES wishing gospel Bucy Radebe good health have been flooding in.

On Saturday, 5 March, Bucy had another health scare that forced her to cancel her trip to Botswana.

The Uzugcin’impilo Yam singer was already in Gaborone when she fell sick and had to return home. She was scheduled to meet and greet her fans at Riverwalk in Botswana for an autograph session on Saturday.

On Friday, Bucy assured her Facebook fans she would meet them as she posted: “Hi Botswana, tomorrow I’m taking some time to hang around with you for a meet & greet. Let’s meet at Riverwalk Mall at 2pm.”

But her illness prevented her, as a result, she had to postpone the event to 2 April.

Her team issued a statement and explained why she did not make it.

Part of the statement reads: “Amid her flight, Ms Radebe started to experience health complications that forced her to immediately return home upon her landing in Gaborone. Supporters would remember that she had some health-related struggles, which resulted in two surgeries in a space of 12 months between 2020 and 2021 about which she was publicly open.

“We cannot foresee any complications that may rise at any given time.”

The singer wrote further wrote: “I’m so sorry Botswana. Some things are beyond my control. Will see you in April. Otherwise, let’s connect tomorrow at 8am, Radio Botswana 2, I love you.”

Her fans have since showered her with messages wishing her a speedy recovery.

Mlesho Nthela wrote: “Speedy recovery in the name of Jesus. There is healing in the name of Jesus Christ. Be blessed.”

Bee Nathi said: “We speak God’s healing upon you woman of God. Speedy recovery.”

Khuluwa Makeke posted: “Ooh maan Bucy, get well soon, my love. May you be healed in Jesus name.”
