Senzo Meyiwa murder trial resumes with new judge

Will the Meyiwa family finally get justice?

The trial of his alleged killers returns to court once again, this time with Judge Ratha Mokgoatlheng presiding.

Mokgoatlheng takes over from Judge Tshifhiwa Maumela.

He was suspended following allegations he failed to deliver judgments within allocated time frames.

Meyiwa, the Bafana Bafana and Orlando Pirates goalkeeper, was killed in October 2014.

The murder took place at the Vosloorus home of his then-girlfriend, singer Kelly Khumalo.

Five men are on trial for the killing.
