RIP: Actress Natasha Thahane’s gogo has died – Video

South African star, Blood and Water actress Natasha Thahane is in mourning following the death of her dear grandmother Eileen Morakane Thahane.

There is nothing more painful than losing a parent or a grandparent, or any member of the family for that matter. Keeping a family together is the responsibility of grandparents, and when they are gone, it’s difficult for some families to remain tight-knit.

The actress took to her Instagram account to share the sad news. Natasha shared an emotional video of her fondest memories with her grandmother. There are beautiful videos in the video of her grandmother dancing during the actress’s baby shower, and in some of the videos, Koko can be seen eating while dancing.

Natasha captioned the video “Rest in Perfect Peace My Darling 🕊 You will always be loved Gogo. Lala uphumle.”

Taking to her Instagram stories, the actress shared that her grandmother will be laid to rest tomorrow in Orlando West, Soweto. There have been many messages of condolence sent to the Thaabe family since the news of her passing broke.

cheryl_112 commented ” I love how you love your Gogo. How God has blessed you to live and enjoy life. Condolences to you and your family.”

nizzy99_the_great commented “Growing up to that age it’s grace 🔥RIP.”

tsile01_xo commented “Ncaaaw May Her beautiful soul Rest In Peace❤️🕯🕊I remember seeing her on Mother’s Day at Life Grand, she was having the time of her life busy dancing and singing along to the live band.”

Itumeleng_slenda commented”May Gogo’s precious soul rest in eternal peace.”

sphethescripty commented “uJehovah ukuthandile kodwa @natasha_thahane by lacing your human experience with a shield of wisdom, by way of all the golden girls you’ve been blessed with. You are more the wiser, more discerning, and more intentional in your living, because of them. Umsebenzi weSalukwazi sakho usufeziwe. Engathi izandla zikaSomandla zingamamukela ngalemfudumalo anikhulise ngayo. May God’s grace over her life extend itself to all your hearts as you reimagine a waking life without her, but rest in the life-long comfort of having shared space and time with her – a gift that no one can ever take away from you. From my heart to yours, I love you nana.”

Our deepest condolences to the Thahane family.
