Rhythm City’s Fats and Generations: The Legacy’s Kabisi Moroka are related

Mpho Molepo is a South African actor known for his role as Fats on Rhythm City is said to be related to Mpho J Molepo who plays Kabisi Moroka on Generations The Legacy.

Fats was born and raised in Diepkloof, Fats is the son of veteran actor and director Arthur Molepo and also owns Molepo Theatre projects.

Talking about working with his father, Mpho Molepo revealed that Arthur Molepo doesn’t want to be associated with mediocrity.

“He is a meticulous person who doesn’t want to be associated with mediocrity, so when am working with him, I have to bring my A-game”

He is not to be confused with fellow South African actor Mpho Joseph Molepo who played the lead role in the SABC2 mini-series Huis van Liefde and is currently playing Kabisi Moroka on Generations The Legacy.

Speaking during an interview session with journalist Wendy Mothata on his relationship with Kabisi Moroka from Generations, Fats revealed that “All Molepos are related,” he first met Kabisi in 1994 in the industry. He also said that his father Arthur Molepo knew about Mpho J Molepo way before 1994.

Fats and Kabisi maybe cousins in real life, Kabisi is 6 years older than Fats despite Fats being the most popular of the two.

Mpho Molepo plays Fats on Rhythm City, he is Suffocate Ndlovu’s right-hand man and Killo Watt manager. Bra Fats is one of the most celebrated Rhythm City cast member who has been with the soapie since the first episode in 2007. The seasoned actor has won the hearts of many through his soft thuggish approach on-set of Rhythm City.

Mpho J Molepo plays Kabisi Moroka on Generations The Legacy, where he replaced Molefe Moroka as the guardian of the Moroka family. Kabisi’s role is characterised by greed, family, control, and power.
