South African rappers were again in their feelings over what Nhlamulo “Nota” Baloyi had to say during his two-part sit-down interview with popular podcaster, MacG, during his latest episode of “Podcast and Chill with MacG.”

Cassper Nyovest was the latest star to reflect on the shade or truth of what the controversial “Authority” had to say during his interview. However, Nota and Cassper have a long social media rivalry that started with the real of Cassper’s single, “Bonginkosi,” featuring Zola. Nota went on Twitter and let it be known that he believes that the song is trash, and alleged that Cassper had managed to take a legend like Zola 7 and use his prolific status to punt a bad song. Nota went on to suggest that Cassper is tainting the prolific career of the kwaito legend.

During that time Cassper was focused on being positive and promoting his album, so he did not give the dig as much attention as it deserved clearly. So when Mufasa did eventually release his album, “Any Minute Now (A.M.N), Nota again came for Cassper and the entire project by suggesting that this album is worst yet from Cassper. Nota based his opinion on the fact that album has no standout songs, which fans can gravitate towards to call a “hit.”

So following the interview where Nota stuck to his guns and made it clear that he meant what he said, Cassper again took to Twitter to post subs directed to Nota. Cassper’s first tweet was to claim that he was unbothered by the constant drags he has to deal with. He even suggested that his “haters” can go as far forming a political party against him, it would not matter because he is still winning. Moreover, that the opinions do not matter because he has four platinum albums.

His next drag which he did not name names, but we can all agree that he could have only meant for the dig to go somewhere specific. Cassper touched on the matter of figures that have “fallen off.” The leader of the Tsibipians stated that “Falling off must be hard.”

When asked what he meant with the aforementioned, Cassper did not hold back which ensured that we all know who the big as directed at. It did not take long either as Cassper’s explanation seemed to reference the relationship between Nota and his former artist, Kwesta, and the demise of the working relationship for reasons that are still unclear to this day.
