Rapper Gigi Lamayne Appreciates DJ Tira – I’ll forever be indebted to you

Rapper Gigi Lamayne has finally released her highly anticipated single Slaap Tiger and she features house music sensations DJ Tira & NaakMusiQ. This is single number 5 released this year by the rapper, and fans still anticipate an album.

Showing off her versatility the rapper has partnered with these house music heads to release a fresh banger for those who are in love. It is a feel-good, vibey dance single that will surely leave you feeling good.

This single follows Gigi’s successful drops Stocko, Stand Together, Mojo Jojo and many others this year and has promised her fans an album. This will follow her first project Job Woods EP.

Announcing that the single has dropped, she showed appreciation to Makoya Bearings saying she has always looked up to him. She applauded him for being a leader who made this single a great project to work on.

DJ Tira has shown his versatility since his career, which saw him working with different artists from different walks of life. No genre is off limits for the DJ who is celebrated.

This year he celebrated 21 years of DJ Tira with a fire album that still has the streets dancing.

In the album he said he wanted to work with female vocalists and musicians more in light of gender based violence.

Malume who is the founder of Afrotainment has been celebrated for putting other artists on and introducing these talents to the country.

The producer opted for an EP instead of an album because having been in the industry as long as he has been, he knows how pointless it is to release a full body of work ‘that no one will listen to.’

Speaking to Daily Sun, he shared how important it is for him to release this album that has an impressive female-lead. It features artists such as Mampintsha, Idols runner-up Sneziey, Berita and many more.

“There have been some highs and lows and lessons along the way and I have worked with some of the best in the game to date,” he told the publication.

“The EP is filled with songs that will be appreciated by women and they will relate to them, it is always nice to do music that will be enjoyed by ladies as Tira, loves and respects women,” said the DJ.
