Springbok captain Siya Kolisi‘s wife Rachel Kolisi has asked the public to pray for her.
This comes after on Sunday 23 April, Sharks player Siya Kolisi sustained a knee injury during a match against Munster. The couple is also set to embark on an exciting journey abroad. This is after Siya announced that they are moving to France as he has inked a lucrative deal with French side Racing 92 in Paris
In a heartfelt message on Instagram, Rachel asked fans to pray for them. “Hey, friends! Believing in a miracle. Would really appreciate it if you could take a minute out of your day to pray with us! I’ve seen God do it before and believe he will do it again.
“Dear brothers and sisters, when troubles of any kind come your way, consider it an opportunity for great joy. So let it grow, for when your endurance is fully developed, you will be perfect and complete, needing nothing.”
James 1:2, 4 NLT,” she captioned the post.
Rachel has been trying to find a school for their children to enroll in abroad ahead of their relocation.
“A very full day of school visits. Must be one of the hardest decisions for parents to make. So much to consider, and super challenging when it’s completely different to what you’ve experienced. But blooms are all around to keep reminding me of a new season,” she wrote.

In January, the Kolisi Foundation released a statement announcing Siya’s relocation. As a result of the move, Kolisi will be able to spend more time with his family.
“Rachel and the kids have sacrificed so much throughout my career, and I am immeasurably grateful for this.
“The move to Racing 92 will enable me to spend more time with my family, which is something I have longed for, and this prospect played a significant part in my decision-making,” said Kolisi.
