“Please don’t refer to us as “albino”, it’s very derogatory” – Refilwe Modiselle Lament

Mzansi media personality, Refilwe Modiselle unhappy with people who keep calling her an “albino”.
The star has not had it easy with her skin colour. Taking to her Twitter, Refilwe made it clear that using the term “albino” is derogatory.

She replied a tweet to a person who asked if anyone knows an “albino” in SA: “Please don’t refer to us as “albino”, it’s very derogatory. Come correct please, it’s person(s) with albinism. Correct referral is models with albinism. Thanks for coming to my #TEDtalk”
