PICS: Inside Musa Mthombeni And Liesl Mthombeni’s 3rd-Anniversary Celebration In Greece

Popular Mzansi media personality and medical doctor Musa Mthombeni and his wife, former Miss SA Liesl Laurie-Mthombeni, are celebrating their three-year wedding anniversary in Greece.

The pair, known as the “it Instagram” couple, took to social media to share details of their love escapade in Greece.

“August in the Mthombeni household is anniversary month, so that means we are off to ‘show off’ in foreign lands. Before you say what you’re about to say, remember this is technically our first international trip in 2024, semester two. I just want to put things in perspective. With that said, let’s go celebrate three years married. Toast to three years married and four years of umjolo (dating),” Mthombeni wrote.

The couple, who got engaged in 2021, have been sharing their love story with the world, from their stunning white wedding ceremony in August 2021 to their monthly celebrations of their love “monthversary”, as Musa would call them.

Last year, the couple celebrated their anniversary in Mauritius.

In July, they celebrated the third anniversary of their traditional wedding.

“Today marks three years of traditional marriage. On this day, a traditional angel was born. On this day, Liesl realised that the cows she had been waiting for had actually been living a spectacular life. They were visiting the spa three times a week. They had medical aid and were seen by the vet to ensure that opportunistic infections did not affect them, and they ate grass grown in the champagne region of France. To three years of ‘Aliliiiii’ and ‘uMakoti ungowethu’ …” Musa, known for his playful personality, said.

Sharing details of how they became an item, Musa revealed that after a close friend, Nokukhanya Khanyile, posted a picture of Liesl on her Instagram stories, he immediately fell in love.

“Within the hour, I sent Liesl a sweet, innocent message and, as they say, the rest is history. Since that day, I’ve spoken to Liesl every day throughout the day. The love of my life and future wife,” he said at the time.

Musa does not shy away from expressing his undying love for Liesl.

“Marrying Liesl is one of the best things to ever happen to me. Words fail me,” he wrote.

“You’ve made me want more out of life, while in the same breath, I’m 100% content with what I have. Thank you, Mrs Mthombeni. You have my heart. I love and like you so much,” he previously said.
