Dr Musa and Liesl Laurie got married this past weekend and they’ve been sharing moments from their big day on social media. The SABC 1 presenter revealed that their marriage has made him the happiest man in the world.
“We got traditionally married this past weekend. I’m the happiest gent in the world.” Said Musa in part. The ceremony took place at the groom’s hometown in the Vaal. His friends, including Clement Maosa from Skeem Saam, came out to support him. The actor revealed how proud he was of his best friend. “From a sweet humble innocent boy from the Vaal to A Married Responsible Husband From the Vaal.” He said.
This comes after the couple celebrated their first anniversary at the Kievits Kroon Gauteng Wine Estate.
“Celebrating one year with this lovely, amazing, sweet and innocent young woman from Eldorado Park. To many more. To giggles. To laughs. To love. To life!” Gushed Musa about the love of his life.
Following the announcement that his husband would be joining SABC 1 as a presenter, Liesl expressed how proud he was of him for always going the extra mile to put food on the table for his family.
“This is how you rest when you know your fiancé starts a new TV show today and will now be continuing in his role of breadwinner.
So proud of this man going out to work for his family! Ladies and gentlemen, I give you the original BREADWINNER of the Mthombeni family.”
Dr. Mthombeni also shows the same amount of love, if not more, to his wife when she does well in her career. Her team recently bagged a couple of radio awards which made him happy. He added that if things continue like this, he should be able to leave his job soon.
“I’m one step closer to my house husband dream. My breadwinner and her team won numerous awards today at the RADIO AWARDS. numerous!!!! Proof that the day I quit working is getting closer! Thank you, God, for blessing my baby with talents so that I can live the life I deserve. I love you baby Liesl Laurie.

What’s not to love about this couple? They are indeed a match made in heaven. They melted many hearts with the love they showed to one another when they both tested for Covid-19. Having to return to work while Liesl stayed at home quarantining broke his heart. He opened up about it to his followers.
“Today was one of the saddest days ever. I had to leave my sick baby at home. I had to leave my sick baby at home because I have to get back to work because I’m feeling better.
God bless everyone who is at home fighting COVID. Nothing but well wishes and good health to you and yours! We will fight and beat COVID, one day at a time!” He said.\
