Uzalo fans have permitted their imagination to run wild after seeing a photo of Thuthuka Mthembu with an unidentified man.

Thuthuka Mthembu plays the role of Nonka on the show. Thuthuka is known for keeping her private life under wraps and has always maintained that she is single.

However, when Thuthuka posted a picture of herself with a man her age on Instagram, fans were led to believe that the man in the picture was her boyfriend, and she was showing him off without revealing too much.

Thuthuka Mthembu stepped into fame for portraying the role of Nonka on Uzalo in December 2018.

She grew up under the protective care of her mother and doesn’t have a close relationship with her father. According to the actress, she initially did not have the intention to be an actress, but has now fallen in love with acting and is having the time of her life in Durban, where the soapie is shot.

“I’ve got roots that stem all the way to this side, so you could say that it’s where I’m ‘originally’ from.”

Uzalo is her first acting gig, and she has always wanted to appear on the screen. The actress starred in a few commercials and even did a feature where she was a child.

“Uzalo is my first acting gig. I’ve always had the desire and passion for being on-screen. I did commercials and features as an extra as a child, but Uzalo is the biggest thing I’ve ever done in my television career.” she explained.
