Royal AM chairperson Andile Mpisane is currently a hot topic after his baby mama and ex Sithelo Shozi accused him of physically and emotionally abusing her.

The musician, footballer, and chairman of Royal AM Football Club seems to be riddled with problems lately. A recent video of him performing in his home province KwaZulu-Natal shows the audience completely bored and uninterested — something he is not experiencing for the first time.

According to the Twitter user who shared the video, Andile was performing at Max’s Lifestyle in Umlazi, Durban.

In the video, Andile can be seen performing one of his songs titled Makhwapheni. But, the audience is just not here for it. None of them are dancing or singing along as he performs.

This is not the first time that Andile has performed in front of a merciless crowd.

In May this year, the Umcimbi singer’s performance a club called Propaganda in Pretoria was mocked on social media. This is after the club-goers were seen staring at the 21-year-old with blank faces as he performed with his backup dancers along with blaring music.

Here are some of the tweeps’ reactions:

Poet and activist Ntsiki Mazwa also replied by saying:

“THIS is why he has to swear at the one succeeding….”

Ntsiki’s comment came after Sithelo shared damning audio clips and pictures alleging that Andile had been abusive during their relationship. In one of the phoncalls, which the DJ and influencer recorded, Andike is hard telling her that she would never amount to anything and she will alwats be beneath him.

Reason has opened up on why the project with Boity Thulo was the most difficult

“Definitely Boity’s project, and not challenging like in a bad way but challenging in a sense that there can be room for criticism as a person who is just trying to hop on a wave again you know,” he said.

Reason has opened up on why the project with Boity Thulo was the most difficult

“We didn’t want to leave room for that (critiscm) she also didn’t want to leave room for that because the thing about Boity is people don’t actually realise how passionate she is about hip hop and rapping and music.”

Reason made it clear that Boity is a big fan of the game and the sound and she always wants to deliver a unique sound. “She is a huge fan of the sound and the genre you know, she really wanted to come across authentically she didn’t want to look like a TV hun that was just rapping you know,” he added.

Reason has opened up on why the project with Boity Thulo was the most difficult

“The challenge was to how she wanted to go further, she wanted to go harder, she would often say ‘ah don’t give me those so-and-so raps, I don’t want to sound like so-and-so, let’s go you know.” Reason said.

“She was also an open shell you know, she was a person who wasn’t shy about having people write but more than anything that I did respect about Boity is how she rewrites, she is the first person to ever, she was a dream to work with, Reason explained

VIDEO: Focalistic responds to Cassper Nyovest’s diss

South African music industry is never short of beefs or artists bickering with one another. This latest one is, Amapiano sensation Focalistic setting the record straight following rapper Cassper Nyovest’s diss.

It started when Cassper Nyovest had some words about Focalistic in his verse on a song titled OohAhh. One would think perhaps it was words of encouragement, meanwhile, Cassper Nyovest took a massive dig at Focalistic. In his verse, Cassper Nyovest sounds rather infuriated with the hip hop and rap scene in Mzansi, Nyovest goes on to say that he inspired a lot of artists including Focalistic.

“Inspired every one of you nigg*s, including Foca,” said Cassper Nyovest.

It’s only been a week or so since Focalistic takes on social media to address the matter at hand. While in Paris, France, Focalistic made it pretty clear that even though he was inspired by Cassper Nyovest, he is still baffled by being mentioned in his verse like somebody wants to be remunerated or credited for Focalistic’s success.
Focalistic loosely said, yes, Cassper inspired me but inspiration doesn’t have an invoice, even Michael Jackson inspired me but I can’t pay him because he is no more. So, if you are inspired it is okay, now I am at the Eiffel Tower, from Pretoria to Paris.

Back in 2019, Focalistic was indeed singing Cassper Nyovest’s praises as someone who has inspired him a great deal in the music industry. However, one would argue whether or not this warranted Cassper Nyovest to make it seem as though all Focalistic’s success should be credited to him. In screenshots from 2019, Focalistic wasn’t shy to praise Cassper Nyovest for featuring him in a song.

“I really have a song with my biggest inspiration! I can’t sleep! We made a SMASH at that. GOD BLESS Cassper Nyovest, Never Know is the a big a TUNE. Pitori Maftown! Kaofela” wrote Focalistic

VIDEO: Focalistic responds to Cassper Nyovest’s diss

Even back in 2018, Focalistic was still singing Cassper Nyovest’s praises, even though they didn’t have a song together back then. So, in actual fact Cassper Nyovest has really played a pivotal role in Focalistic’s music journey thus far.

“If Cassper Nyovest doesn’t at least inspire you to be better in anything you do… you must have a problem” wrote Focalistic

VIDEO: Focalistic responds to Cassper Nyovest’s diss

Tweeps are arguing and it appears that Focalistic could be a hypocrite since in actual fact, Cassper Nyovest is really echoing what Focalistic has been saying about him being an inspiration even before he stepped into the music industry. Could it be because now that Focalistic has a brand for himself, that is what causing his anger and outrage.
