Musa Mseleku: Don’t blame me, blame your husbands for cheating

Polygamist Musa Mseleku has lambasted his critics. Following the latest episode of Mzansi Magic’s Mnakwethu, he was accused of being insensitive and disrespectful towards women.

During the episode, he was tasked with helping Qinisela Xaba, who wants to take Thobile Zondi as his second wife. Qinisela said he was cheating on his wife Silindile Miya and was tired of sneaking around and that’s why he wanted to marry Thobile.

What angered many viewers was that Silindile started crying as soon as Musa walked in.

Pain and disappointment were written all over her face.
“I was deeply hurt because I knew he’d come to tell me about polygamy. I don’t want a sister wife,” a teary Silindile said on the show.

Qinisela insisted he had the final say and would take a second wife, which angered many women.

Speaking to the publication, Musa said: “I understand the pain that I bring to these women and it is worse when the husband wants to take the girlfriend as a second wife.

“However, my job is to reveal the secret to the wife. In most cases, the wife is not ready for it. This is because most women think their husbands or partners are different from other men until I come and introduce the girlfriend as the incoming wife.”

Musa said women hated him for telling the truth about their husbands.

“The anger must be directed to these men who introduce their girlfriends to their wives. I understand that polygamy is not yet a normal practice but a debate has already started and it’s a good and healthy debate,” he said.

The SunTeam spoke to Qinisela, who said: “I’ve discussed this with my wife. At the moment, we’re not ready to talk about it.”

Shirley Adonisi, director of local entertainment channels for M-Net, said the broadcaster strived to make content that reflected South African society.

“Always and forever, my love,” their caption read.

Their post was awkward for many as it’s been public knowledge that Somizi and Lasizwe have not been besties and now he had formed an alliance with Mohale?

He also revealed that this particular person was married in the public eye and he is currently going through a big divorce.

“I always say that life is a road trip and the people that are in your car chose to be in your car. There’ll be bumps but if we decide to stop at a garage and you say that you don’t want to continue in this car, I’m for that.

“My values right now are making memories and investing in my growth. I’m in that phase right now whereby it’s about what makes me happy at that moment,” he told Kaya FM.

You can listen to the interview between Dineo Ranaka and Lasizwe and judge for yourself. Lasizwe described Mohale without mentioning his name.

This came after the infamous Twitter profile Mr Handsome, tweeting that Mohale and Lasizwe were an item but Lasizwe immediately shutdown the allegations through a scathing clap back.

Lasizwe had posted a picture on Twitter, posing with Mohale and they looked dapper in black and white outfits. The two were attending a birthday celebration o Leeroy Sidambe

In a tweet the infamous Twitter profile Mr Handsome wrote, “Breaking News: Mohale is having an affair with Mohale.” Lasizwe defended himself by pulling out the “F- word”.

Big blow for The Estate viewers as Dineo Moeketsi dumps the show

Mzansi media personality Dineo Moeketsi has been in the industry for several years and dabbles in acting, television presenting, and entrepreneurship. Every time she showcases her artistry, the actress never ceases to amaze her fans.

The Estate viewers will be sad to learn that reports have emerged that she has parted ways with the show after portraying the character of Mmakoena Molefe for two seasons.

Dineo joined the show in 2021 but sadly her journey has reached an end. According to entertainment commentator Phil Mphela, the actress will not be part of the third season of the show which starts today. It is unclear why the actress is exiting the show.

Avid viewers took to the comments section to react to the shocking news. @Bbygalrea wrote “I wonder how will they write her off because season one finale she was confronted by angry protesters…

@BMKekana “Ag no I was really enjoying her in this character. We will miss her.”

@HellomissSammie “Oh no why is she leaving . I was enjoying her and her on screen husband.”

The Estate will introduce new characters this evening and they are the Nobengela Family. Dumisani Mbebe will play Melisizwe, the patriarch in the Nobengela household. He is a businessman and political fixer associated with Castro Kamanga. Lerato Mvelase plays Melisiwe’s wife, Noxolo, an interior design business owner. Melisiwe and Noxolo relocate to Johannesburg with their children, Gcinekile (Samke Makhoba), Vukani (Siya Xaba) and Mzolisi (Anga Makubalo).

This was Dineo’s major gig after leaving The Queen in 2020. Reports emerged that the actress was fired from the show but according to IOL, The showrunner Laura Nell denied claims that the actress was axed.

“Dineo’s contract was not terminated. She is still on payroll until the end of May. Dineo was released to go and shoot her movie. Scripts had to be rewritten to accommodate this as she was on an ‘A’ storyline. She was scheduled to return in April, but due to the lockdown, everything has changed.”

At the time, The Fergusons were making headlines constantly for allegedly firing their employees. In an Instagram live with Themba Ndaka they refuted claims that they mistreat their employees.

“This is a soap, it’s a telenovela. Characters come and go, that’s how soaps operate. It’s for the story and sometimes to introduce another story, but characters come and go. This isn’t something exclusive to The Queen, it happens everywhere, and it happens all the time,” Connie said.

But, when Kea was asked when would her character return to Dubai on the show she said she was fired “Ang’buyi mina ngaxoshwa (I am not coming back, I was fired),” she responded.

How Zandie Khumalo tried to save Senzo Meyiwa’s life after he was shot

South African songstress Zandie Khumalo has opened up to eNCA for the first time about what transpired that fateful night when Senzo Meyiwa was shot dead.

Meyiwa died in 2014 after being shot during an alleged robbery gone wrong at the home of his then-girlfriend Kelly Khumalo. In the aftermath of his murder, Zandie and her family continue to make headlines.

There seems to be no end to Mzansi’s barbs toward the Khumalo family, and one wonders when they will be exonerated of all the backlash they continue to face.

Zandie who was one of the people inside the house when Senzo was murdered has also shared her own version of events. According to her, one of their neighbors, Mam Sangweni, was allegedly beaten and interrogated by police all night to agree to “certain things.”
The singer has apologized to her neighbours for the torture and stress they had to endure since the incident unfolded.

“I want to apologize on behalf of my family, it was not our intention. We didn’t plan for anything, but It just happen. I would not wish this to happen even on my worst enemy because it is an ongoing cloud that is forever hanging on your shoulders,” she said.

A few weeks ago, advocate Malesela Teffo claimed that the crime scene had been tampered with during his cross-examination of Sgt Thabo Mosia.

Zandie said she doesn’t understand what they mean when they say the crime scene was tampered with because when they came from the hospital their house was full.

“When they say the crime scene was tampered with, I don’t know what they mean. First of all, our house was too small. The minute you have 5 people its a full house. By the time we returned from taking Senzo to the hospital the house was packed. Some of the people we knew and others we didn’t,” she said.

Teffo claimed that when Senzo was taken to the hospital he had already died but Zandie said she tried to save his life.

“I was the one sitting with Senzo at the back of the car, putting pressure on the wound leading to the hospital. Even on our way to the hospital, I could feel him getting cold from his feet. I was busy talking to him all the way, trying to keep him alive .” she said.

Upon being asked what she might have changed, Zandie said that she wished she had stabbed one of the intruders because maybe they would have been able to tell them who hired them.

“When something happens of that magnitude, you forget everything. I even forgot the knife drawer, maybe I could’ve taken a knife and stabbed someone. Maybe if there was one left behind, one would have said something it would’ve been better. Things just go through your mind that I would’ve wanted to do so much, said Zandie.

She continued: “If a situation is facing you and if it will happen on that day there’s nothing you can do it will happen,”
