Zola Nombona on hiding her pregnancy: I was uncomfortable

It’s not always the right time for one to share the news that you are expecting a bundle of joy, especially when you are a celebrity as followed as Zola Nombona, and she knows that first hand.

But now that she’s shared her great news, she’s opened up about how hard it was to conceal her pregnancy.

“Hiding a pregnancy is not a joke, my darling,” she began.

Zola remembered one time before she shared her baby bump with the world when she had to be strategic about what she wore because she didn’t want the world to know yet.

“I remember going to this event and feeling like my pants were going to rip. I was uncomfortable. Everything felt tight. I couldn’t even hear the music (which was loudly deafening, if I might add) All I wanted to do was to go home.” she said.

The actress has a huge following on social media, and her fans have showered her with nothing but love since hearing there’s a baba on the way.

Plus she looks amazing. Her preggy glow is too much for these streets!

Whilst Zenande Mfenyana has not spoken out denying or confirming the rumors and speculations. Black Twitter has not stopped talking. One tweep decided to ask the actress the reason behind her supposed weight gain and it wasn’t well-received.

If friendship goals was a person, definitely these two would take the trophy. Mafikizolo duo Theo Kgosingwe and Nhlanhla Nciza have been at it for over twenty years and their relationship has always been one to admire.

In interviews, the duo describes their relationship as brother and sister and the best of friends. But we love it also when they play love interests in their music videos.

In their new music video for Ngeke Balunge, they had a kissing scene in which they played well but the behind the scenes bloopers are hilarious. Nhlanhla shared a clip on Instagram in which she was dodging Theo‘s kisses with the director assuring her that he won’t kiss her.

Anele Mdoda has opened up about parenting, telling her followers about a lesson she learned from her four-year-old recently. The radio host said she has a habit of making decisions for her son, Alakhe, without involving him.

“I have this terrible habit of deciding on Alakhe’s behalf. Example: I will ask everyone else what they want and I decide for him.”

Mdoda said Alakhe had noticed and “reprimanded” her.

“He asked me to please ask him what he wants.”

She said he was too young to be consulted, but nearly cried when she realized her error.

“For the past year and a half, Afrotex has been sending me hair and I’d post it on my social media networks. One day the head of the company requested a meeting with me where he told me about new hair with superb quality that they wanted me to be the face and name of. I was super excited and I told him that I’d like to be part of the business and not just the face. I wanted to have an input in the design of the hair and the colours and what the hair should look like. They allowed me to and I took it running from there,” she says.

In a statement, Managing Director of Afrotex SA, Minseek Kim, said that the collaboration cames as a result of Masutha’s growing fame and acclaim.

“Afrotex could not think of a better person to collaborate with, Shonisani Masutha has broken borders, having fans from across the African continent as well as the Indian audience,” he said.

“The fibre is extremely light and not heavy to wear at all. It is quite unique since there is currently no 31-inch-long braid in the market. It comes in 17 colours and is itch-free. Consumers also have the option to order the hair online and have it delivered to their doorstep,” she says.

Shonisani also revealed that all the hair from Afrotex is free from chemicals, making their braids itch-free and lightweight.

Taking to her Twitter page, Shonisani posted a list of the different shops where the braids would be available.
