Skeem Saam actor and musician Mlungisi “Skandi Kid” Mathe left quite a few hearts broken recently after he decided to let the world know that he’s in love and not afraid to show it. Speaking to TshisaLIVE in a catch-up interview recently, the actor said when it came to whether or not he should share his joy with fans, it was a no-brainer. Sharing that part of my life was an easy decision to make. I made a decision to share because I found what I had been looking for. I’m happy right now and I think this is it.

“She’s my dream woman. I found the woman I have been looking for. I’ve always dreamt of one day having a Zulu, loving, smart, educated somebody and I found her. She’s very loving and so respectful, rooted and cultured. We understand each other,” he gushed.
Mlungisi met his girlfriend, Nonduh Mkhize, in 2017 in Joburg. He said they’re deeply in love and even though he figured some of his female fans would be sad that he’s off the market, his woman is definitely worth it.

The actor, best known for his role as mischievous womaniser Emkay on Skeem Saam, also revealed that he’s going through a dry season as far as other acting roles are concerned, but is using the time to focus on his other talents – particularly music.

Going as Skandi Kid, the actor introduced Mzansi to his musical side through his maskandi music back in 2017. I am working on new music. Through that, people will get to experience what I am capable of as an artist,” he said.

Tweeps have reacted to the alleged pregnancy news of The Queen Mzansi’s starlet Omuhle Gela. This follows after Daily Sun reported that the actress is expecting a baby. The publication reported that an insider informed them that, Gela is four months pregnant and the father of her child is wealthy entrepreneur Nsovo Mashaba, who is alleged to be in a relationship with beauty influencer Gorgeous Mbali.

The news has since left Mzansi divided because some believe Omuhle snatched Nsovo from Mbali but some believe Gela was the first lady. Daily Sun reported that when contacted about the news of Gela’s pregnancy Nsovo asked who she was and when asked about Mbali he also acted as if he does not know her.

Wow, time really flies. We can’t believe it’s been a year since Rythm City’s Amo Chidi welcomed her first child. This afternoon, the talented actress took to Instagram to wish her bundle of joy a Happy 1st Birthday along with a heartfelt message.

A week ago, news broke that Amo Chidi would be leaving Rhythm City and it seems she’s been spending her time with her little family creating memories.

THIRTY-EIGHT years later and Herman and Connie Mashaba are still in love!

The founder of The People’s Dialogue took to Twitter yesterday to share an anniversary message with his wife.

“Today we celebrate 38 years of marriage @Connie Mashaba, I owe so much to you. I would have never been the man I am today without your love and support. Here’s to many more years together as we build the South Africa of our dreams.”

Mashaba told Daily Sun he first saw Connie at the end of 1978, when he visited Hans Kekana High School, where she was a pupil.

We were attending a beauty pageant and she won. I started dating her when I was at the University of Turfloop in 1979 and realised she was the girl of my dreams.”

He said they tied the knot on 3 March 1982 after two years of dating, and it was the best thing he ever did.

“Connie has been more than a wife to me: a friend, protector and business partner.

“I hope our relationship can serve as an inspiration to others born in the same circumstances as Connie and I.

“We had no material assets but love and respect for each other. I will forever be grateful for the positive role she played in my life.”

He said Connie held the family together and took over the businesses while he focused on his political dream.

THE dad who allegedly killed his four kids is back in the police cells.

This after Lucas Phasha (50) went to hospital after he was allegedly moered by inmates.

But his family claimed he was tortured by cops and seriously injured his leg. His brother Nkwana (47) said they didn’t know why he was beaten as he co-operated with the police.

He said they were now seeking legal advice to take lawful steps against the police involved in his ill-treatment.

“I went to the cells on Monday to check on him. He suffered injuries to his feet. Lucas started giving the police information before he was arrested.

“He ran away from the village on the day he killed the children, fearing a mob would attack him. He’s the one who called and gave the cops the exact place where he dumped his children’s bodies,” said Nkwana.

Katlego (9), Tshepo (5), Joyce (7) and Adele (2) were allegedly killed two weeks ago by their dad after he had a heated argument with their mother, Sylvia Monyela (30).

Brigadier Motlafela Mojapelo said they knew nothing about the claims of police attacking the suspect.

“In fact, we’re shocked because he co-operated. The complainant has all the rights to open a case with Ipid.”

Ipid spokesman Sontaga Seisa said they hadn’t received a complaint from the suspect. “He is welcome to open a case at any police station for us to conduct investigations,” he said.
